If it is exclusive, it's likely it was agreed before SFV released (only 9 months ago after all), so that argument may not hold any weight

Marvel vs. Capcom 4 might be revealed at PSX, Iron Galaxy allegedly developing

According to verified leaker, OsirisIsBlack, Marvel vs. Capcom 4 is in development though the rumors about it being revealed at PSX after the Capcom Cup finals and it being developed by Iron Galaxy come from other sources.
Whether these other sources are trustworthy remains to be seen but a user called Ryce says: “Just to clarify, I heard that MvC4 will be announced after the Capcom Cup grand finals at PSX, not during the press conference itself.” Capcom Cup finals are played on Saturday, December 3rd at 6 pm PST.
Lastly, the rumor about it being developed by Iron Galaxy stems from a user called “FACE”. If true, this would not be the first time that Iron Galaxy is hired by Capcom to develop a fighting game as the studio has previously developed games like Marvel vs. Capcom Origins and Darkstalkers Resurrection.
Even though the majority of their work has consisted of porting work and technical consulting, Iron Galaxy has expressed a desire to grow and hired their new CEO, Adam Boyes, who is former VP for third party relations and developer technology group at PlayStation.

I got a feeling Sony did play a hand in this in more ways than one:

1) the Adam Boyes connection
2) already having funded SFV & continuing to let Capcom do their thing regardless of mixed reviews e etc
3) Sony and Disney being pally with licensing.
4) Sony already being involved with an Exclusive Spidey game.
5) Disney most likely wanting a new MvsC based on the current MCU.

I'm hoping it's multiplat though so the series can sell more across platforms and it helps secure future iterations.

It will be interesting if it's based on MCU with characters from:

1) avengers universe
2) Spidey universe
3) GotG universe
4) JJ, LC, DD

Hopefully we will get the Fox characters too. Deadpool was my go to Marvel character in MvC3.

I have UMvC3,MCV2 and SFV but I got SFV when it hit 20 bucks thanks to the mess it's in. SFV didn't have to wait long but UmvC3 did since the prices started going up last few years.

If you're really that desperate for low price you can buy it off Ebay or on Black Friday.

I'm sure you want to keep harassing me but I never do Black Friday anything ever because it's a BS day. I can easily show you my collection dude. I collect. I don't lie. You don't collect by being impatient and paying full price all the time. I'm also not a fan of Capcom's managment these days and they make so many dumb decisions,not willing to support them full price often.

I hope it's exclusive to the PS4 with other Capcom IPs like DMC 5
