Forums - Gaming Discussion - It's Official, Microsoft gave up on Europe (No Black Friday deals)

Sony is selling Ps4 at 199e and 249e across the whole continent, meanwhile Microsoft is selling Xbox for 299e or more, Ps4 sells much better here even when higher priced, let alone like this, seems like Microsoft has given up over here.

Japan and Europe lost, what's next?

Europe is mostly Sony land already.... Maybe they dont think its worth it?

Which really sucks, because I was waiting for black friday to purchase an Xbone D:

There is also the fact that XB1s is more expensive to produce for Microsoft than PS4s. So they can do crazy deals on in a few countries.

so, how are gonna be the estimates? No significant boost, huge drop or somewhere between these 2? Shame we don't have official numbers to get an idea what's going on.

There were some deals for Xbox earlier this week in Germany.
We don't have any BF deals, Amazon does a whole cyberweek for products.

Black Friday is an American event, so why should they bring these deals to Europe?

199 euro for PS4 slims... Germany was already kinda a slaughter, but with deals like this from Sony and not from MS?

Yeah PS4 : XB1 ratio of sales is gonna be more insane than normal this holiday.

Its a new concept, thats mostly only a few years old (here), but people are getting accustomed to it.

Also why should they? because Sony are doing it. You follow your competitors if you want to stay even.

You know to lose something you have to have it first.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Wow. Sony is REALLY keen on conquering Europe. I guess that's why they don't feel the need to be too aggressive in the US just to take on MS. Is getting US Black Friday imports in Europe an option?
