Forums - Nintendo - DS Shortages In The UK?

According to DS Fanboy there are shortgaes in the UK, they have comments from a Nintendo rep to back it up and a couple of other sites echo what is said at DS Fanboy. Here's the link - http://www.dsfanboy.com/2008/03/31/strong-ds-sales-mean-supply-shortage-to-uk/. Anyone got any other links to this.

So fellow Uk residents, any DS shortages round your way?

My local GAME and Tesco are both sold out and have been intermittenly for the last two weeks or so.

US was having shortages for January and February, I guess it's Europes turn now that stores here seem well stocked.

Final* Word on Game Delays:

The game will not be any better or include more content then planned. Any commnets that say so are just PR hogwash to make you feel better for having to wait.

Delays are due to lack of proper resources, skill, or adequate planning by the developer.

Do be thankful that they have enough respect for you to delay the game and maintain its intended level of quality.

*naznatips is exempt

Yes there are. I have been wanting to buy a Ds for a while now, but the only colour thats in stock is f^*king pink!

I think the DS has never really recovered form last holidays, that is why we have not really seen too much of a drop in others all year.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

It seem Others is picking up the slack from Japan somewhat.
