Summer 2014 while trying out the experience E3 at Best Buy event with Smash 4. Nintendo rep gave everyone a 30$ coupon off Wii U and 20$ off Wii U games. Got the NSMB and Luigi U with 3D world for 300$ Then got MK8 for 48$ on Amazon and digital file of Pikmin 3 free for buying MK8 before August 2014 or something.

Oh wait I got this at May then. So late spring 2014.
