Forums - Sales - PS4 Pro is completely sold out in Japan, 500$ scalper prices. Media Bias exposed

Not sold out in Canada. I went to a Best Buy last weekend and they kept replenishing Xbox One S's while the Pros just sat there.

@ OP

Definitely looks like the Pro could have done ~80K or more if there was enough stock.  I think we're going to have a damn good LTD at the end of the year.  I'm guessing 55M-57M.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

We get it. The pro is great and the entire world wants one.

So you sit there all day watching them replenish stock? How do you know they didn't restock pro 5 mins before arriving lol

I don't think it reveals anything of the sort. 65k is not impressive for first week, and there wasn't more because pre-orders weren't more.

I got my pro on launch day. My PS4 i had to wait about 4-5 months. The reviews are correct. It's hardly worth the money for what it gives and it's not a consumer friendly practice. Only reason i got one was because the retailer had to make a temporary trade in campaign that gave a whopping 150€ for my near launch OG ps4. Wouldn't have gotten it otherwise.

Hopefully sony can put another stock out for ffxv, would be very important

It's a conspiracy. It can't get more obvious than that. Either you see it or you are a hater. Sony would rightfully rule the gaming world without even the smallest competition but clearly media is biased and people fall into false marketing traps all the time, layed out by evil corp (we don't mention the real name, it's like summoning the devil).

i talk about Japan here. The PS4 Pro is worth the money more than the other alternatives this hollyday season, with only 100€ more you get a lot more  performance. Youre dissapointed because you had wrong exceptations and no 4K TV

Pro is doing great, but it does have an up hill battle against some of the generation loyalists. At my Gamestop the Pro sold just under twice the amount of pre orders as the PSVR, but the manager refused to do a midnight open because he doesn't believe in mid gen releases, while they did do a midnight event for PSVR.

I look at it the same way as the phone market. Is a new iPhone necessary every year? Hell No. Should Apple continue to put out an updated model with the best possible tech every year? Absolutely.

Some people will get a new device every year, some every other, some every five, and some whenever the last one breaks down. No one is forced to upgrade, but when people make the choice to, shouldn't the newest product on the shelf be up to date with all the latest tech? Without a doubt, yes.

Pro and Scorpio are what consoles needed to stay relevant, and Sony and Microsoft have done a marvelous job putting them selves in position to own the home computing market. Whether people want a cheap stteaming box, or the most graphically impressive device on the market, PlayStation and Xbox will deliver it thanks to these scalable platforms they have moved to.

I know, man. My uncle's third mistresses works at Best Buy and told me no one's buying pspro's. The employees need to trick customers into buying one by pretending it's an Xb1S.
