I didn't love the demo, but I'm sure I'll love it when I play the full game. Its Pokemon.

Who plays Pokemon for the story tho? Not a single Pokemon game has had a good story. It's something you even take for granted.
Are you aware that Team Aqua was gonna drown the entire world in oceans because they liked water? Or that Team Flare was gonna obliterate all living thing because they werent pretty enough?

Undeserved, but I'm glad it didn't break the +90 metascore.

Before you ask me why, I'm a pokemon hater and I don't mind admitting it. I also tried the demo (mostly because for some reason I like collecting no-uses demo, even though they just take space) and it was a boring exercise of watching Greninja rape everything in its path, so it's a terrible demo to couple it together.

Because pokémon sucks.

Considering I pretty much like all Final Fantasy games aside from FF III, this statement is quite meaningless.

But why does it suck so much to you? Just give a few reasons why you don't like it. If you just say "I hate it because it sucks so it doesn't deserve good reviews", that makes you sound ignorant.

OT, if you dislike Pokemon games that's fine. I hate Elder Scrolls gams and I still live in a gaming forum xD.
