"If China respond to new US economic policies we'll invade them with the help of NATO" is the most irrealistic thing I've read here in years. And I've read a lot of predictions threads in the last few months :D But no wonder Trump can be elected if people are able to believe this kind of science fiction.

I was refering to war. Some people think that China has a chance against NATO. China won't even be able to USA alone. Not to mention all of our allies in NATO. China would get rekt.

A literal war with China would destroy a good chunk of the planet. "NATO" is a joke. It would be US vs. China, which sure the US would probably "win", but they'd also likely get hit by several nukes. So would Japan and quite possibly Europe too. Also any type of "ground war" with China would be a disaster. US was having headaches with freaking Iraq and run down Afghanistan.

You know a way to play digital content without hardware?

I never said we don't need hardware. That is why I said little need for hardware. For example, Televisions now include all the Apps which renders things like Apple tv not as useful as before. Everything is being combined into one device more than ever.Hell, some hardware are being eleminated almost completley such as CDs and soon to be DVDs. China will have to adapt fast or they will fall flat.

Reduced need isn't little need.  In fact, with people buying new smart phones every year, the need is still pretty massive.

China has nuclear missiles. US has nuclear missiles. Nobody's gonna attack anybody. And other countries will surely avoid being dragged in this hypothetical mess. People who don't understand how nuclear dissuasion works should stop trying to spread fear on internet. And even if you don't understand nuclear dissuasion, the mutual economic dependance between US and China is more than enough to stop any overly agressive behavior.

The only way US and China could "go to war" is if China cross the line and invade another Asian country (the tensions in the region are really high). And even then, the US army wouldn't intervene directly. But once again, China has a lot more to lose if they choose the military option when they can easily continue with the economic and political option, so this scenario is unlikely too (but less ridiculous than the US/China nuclear war).

US military back with Nato will destory China's military in a heart beat.

Second, their economy isn't all that great when they depend on US.

Lastly China can't call in their debt instantly. China depends on America a lot more than vise versa. We can take our outsourcing somewhere else and let China go down. Also, China won't be as huge in the future since everything is becoming more and more digital with little need for hardware. China's time is running out.

China owns $1.2 trillion in US debt (only Japan I think has a little more), they have a ton of leverage to hurt the US.

US can't even defeat a bunch of cave dwellers like the Taliban (still running around last I checked). I'm not so sure any type of military conflict against China would go so smoothly for them.

You realize that's ~10% of the US's debt. Hardly enough to bring the US to its knees.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

China and USA needs each other, but USA needs China way more than China needs USA.

Different types of conflict, requires different type of analysis. China is not battle proven.

Conventional Warfare is not Guerilla Warfare. Just because US didn't defeat bunch of dudes wearing the same clothes as civilians, doesn't mean they can't wreak ones wearing uniform.

No Taliban is in Shambles and ISIS is pretty much screwed at this point. We could exterminate them completley pretty much, but would cause a lot of innoncent people to die instead of just a few. If united states really wanted to we can just bomb countries off the face of the earth. Also, 1.2 trillion dollars isn't a lot because we only need to pay interest on it. It's like saying you're in debt/bankrupt when you have a mortgage for a house. As long as you pay your mortgage, you're fine. If we pull out of China they will eventually go bankrupt because their jobs and GDP is way too depended on USA. That and we could just impose sanctions on them.

Look people. Here is proof just how good of a brainwahsing tool the mainstreram media is. Oh Snoopy, you and your little dreams of being part of something grand and righteous. Let me guess, Vietnam was also just a heartfelt push for democracy, right?

No wonder the US got to the point where it is today considering that people like you have the right to vote.

Really? Do you think that the US military would have a chance of actually destroying China? My god people its the 3rd most modern military in the world, with the biggest population to boost, and you still think that the US would stand a chance on its own soil. It is also has a nuclear arsenal to back them uip with full ICBM support to boost. You have to stop to sniff your own propaganda poo for legal highs.

You have to start reading and interpreting before putting words on my fingers.

Did I state where the eventual battle would occur?

I think China would have a hard time solving logistics problems in the battlefield let alone tatical warfare.
Waging war is not just having weapons, experience and know how go a long way.

You've fallen prey to one of the classic blunders, the most famous of which is "never get involved in a land war in Asia", but only slightly less well known is this "Never go up a against a Sicilian when death is on the line!"
