Forums - Microsoft Discussion - "Really True 4K"

But in all other threads MS crew says MS isn't saying all that is in the OP nor that any fan thinks like that.

First it's "Highest quality pixels" now "really true 4K" lol.

Somehow I missed that one.

There is a user here who use it in his signature, and not in a sarcastic manner.

So when will we see all these cloud-enhanced Xbox One games that make a faster console unnecessary? Before or after the launch of the Scorpio? ;)

Well, cloud will make Scorpio faster than 100Tflops and will deliver you the true 4k with hifi VR.

They forgot to mention really hi-fidelity VR this time.
I wonder what kind of headset they want to pair with Scorpio.

Well Trully Hi-fi VR, the headset is pending definition, but once it reveal it will be the only true VR experience.

Lol really really true 4k... It will most likely deliver more native 4K games than the PS4 Pro, but don't pretend the Pro cannot and has not already delivered native 4K AAA games(Fifa 17, The Last of Us Remastered, Skyrim Remastered etc).

Don't get me wrong, Microsoft are clearly pulling out the PR speak on 4k and native.

But listing Fifa and a couple of last-gen ports with increased resolution isn't really the way to prove them wrong

The list isn't to show that PS4Pro is delivering incredibly high demanding 4k games, just to nulify PR claim that there isn't a console capable of delivering any native 4k game yet. Would be funny seeing a Sony PR person saying there is no way in hell they would allow MS to have a HW that is over 30% more powerfull.

This is funny how these exact same people will argue that you cannot make the difference between 720p or 900p compared to 1080p, because nobody can "see it" unless they sit at a few inches from their set, yet they talk about the 4K capabilities of their next console as if resolution was the most important aspect of graphics ONLY AFTER SCORPIO IS RELEASED.

Oh well... PR has to sell the products the company they work for makes I guess...

720p to 1080p in a 65" 4k TV is less noticeable than 1800p checkerboard upresed to 4k against native 4k on a 1080p screen. Don't you know that resolution works in the opposite of dimineashing returns?
