#26: This handheld game was released on the same date as a big brother on home consoles, though it is a totally original game, in a totally different style and taking place at a different point in time chronologically.

Metroid Fusion?

Yes, I failed to come up with a more inspired hint.

Huh, I recalled him being called Hero of Trains in the game. My bad, I guess.

Well I do agree that would have been pretty lame at least, yes.

Wild guesses are better than no guesses at all, most of my games are indeed Nintendo though

Correct on #31 and #32

And you are pretty close with #29, but not at the same time (if you get what I mean) :p

Nice. And #29 uhm.. is uhm.. Do I want to guess Mario Galaxy 2? Feels strange after guessing Mario Galaxy. Like if I don't have any imagination or something. But then, you mean a game with Yoshi I assume, and it's "out of this world" so I'm just going to do it anyway;... Mario Galaxy 2?

Yes! :D

No More Heroes.

#27
Organic versus Mineral, the more technologically advanced destroys itself and threatens the other

#28
Aim for the sky, swing, and that's how enemies die

#33 - A more niche Atlus NDS JRPG game
Three timelines, diverging from one point
To one point the three timelines will return
All must be tread upon, to influence the other
To save the world and one another

#34 - A NDS spinoff game of a popular jrpg franchise
A peaceful village stands no chance against the mighty power of the tank
All 100 have been captured, but one.. One that looks like a misshaped baseball bat.
Fear not, we shall fire anything and everything to defeat the One’s tank
But the One will be the end to us all.

Nobody guessed any of my games

#31 - Xenoblade Chronicles X

This is a HUGE game. Now, it's not perfect by any means. Sidequests can be boring, grinding is a necessity, story is... decent to bad, and OST is a mixed bag (although, it does have a contender in my Top 10 songs in gaming...). But overall, it is the best open world game I've ever played. It doesn't get boring (imo) until over 100 hours in... which means a singleplayer game entertained me for over 100 hours. That's amazing. Gameplay is fine, not great, but once you get a Skell, it opens up so much. Exploring regions for the first time is the best feeling in the game, and discovering hidden areas makes it all the better. I want to finish it, but it's so very long and the final boss begs me to grind for almost 5 more levels (leveling up once after level 40 is really hard!).

#30 - Pokemon Black/White

Just like Emerald, I haven't played this one in a while. I tried a lot of Nuzlockes challenges, but I suck at Gen V Nuzlockes. Overall, it's a fantastic game with a great story and characters. The music and world is fantastic, and I ADORED the fact they were trying to pull away from the rest of the generations. This is the first region that takes insporation outside of Japan; first and only gen to have completely and exclusively new Pokemon, with no reused designs. Very bold move, but it did very well. Team Plasma also brought a cool ideal, but in the end it was all a hoax and made me dislike them (as in, badly designed villains). I also never really understood why N is an antagonist... There's no reason for him to want to fight the protagonist... One more thing. I'm not putting B2/W2 in my list (even though I think I like it more? I'm a weird guy). I just... didn't know where to put it and B/W...

#29 - Super Mario Galaxy

I truly loved playing this game. I didn't actually own it, so I had to play it with one of my best friends who did own it. It was a very long time ago (almost 10 years! shrugs). Also, I unnoficially consider SMG2 as the same game as SMG, because they are god damn it. SMG2 just has Yoshi and a few more powerups. I believe it also started out as an expansion. So yeah, SMG 1+2. What can you say? Beautiful soundtrack, great platforming and masterful level design. It doesn't quite grab me, as there is another 3D Mario that I simply enjoyed more.

But as I have said before, I love challenges. And both the Green Stars and the very last level in SMG2 are the fucking best for a challenge. I replayed the last level soooo many times. Also, a cool "trick" I loved to do in SMG2 was the infinite Yoshi flutter jump. I want that kind of unintentional stuff in other games...

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Hint #28: Again with too much water? Different franchise though.
Hint #27: In the lore, a demon is literally in the cover of this kids game for the DS.

4 more hints:

#25: Features one of the best physics engines, nothing pre-rendered, but it sure LOVES cliffhangers.
#24: A crossover that led to the creation of one of the most talked about characters in 2008, but is pretty much forgotten by both companies in said crossover.
#23: The long awaited sequel featuring new characters with a pretty amazing control scheme (which was apparently patched in a year after release.)
#22: If it weren't for this game, the series would be dead.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
