30. Ghost Trick Phantom Detective.
Probably Shu Takumi's best work in terms of the story, an interesting puzzle game where the main mechanic is item manipulation under a time limit to prevent the deaths of characters.
29. Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening.
I started playing the DMC series pretty recently, and 3 easily became my favorite hack and slash game of all time, with its deep and engaging combat system, great soundtrack, a simple yet well executed story with one of the greatest rivals ever in the form of Vergil and a scaling difficulty that keeps you on your toes at every turn, is the combination of all these factors that makes DMC3 just click and makes for one of the best of its genre.
28. Castlevania Circle of the Moon.
Among the many Metroidvania style games from the series, CotM stands on top as my favorite so far, mostly cause even from the added exploration factor to the series, it keeps the challange level from the classic 2D games, mixed with a great soundtrack of familiar tunes and great new ones, no weird stuff like a double castle or an upside down castle or collect souls for a true ending (it wasn't made by Igarashi so that would explain it). Bonus points for featuring my favorite Dracula battle in the series, just a great game in general.
