The Last of Us was great... Considering how everybody freaked out about Gamespots 8/10 on the game, that statement is controversial as heck. Great game, nothing special about it.

I'm a fan of Resident Evil, I'm not a big fan of Resident Evil 4. I love the first 3, thought the 5th was fun coop, absolutely despised the 6th, but have never been able to get into 4 at all. I've bought it for multiple systems, and recognize that it's much, much better than 6, I've just never been able to get very far into it.
I think Shadow of The Colossus is boring and depressing.
I used to be a Shadow of the Colossus hater because of the controls but after watching a Let's play I had an itch to play it myself and I quite liked it although the controls were still awkward.

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

I think Kratos is one of the worst video game characters of all time, and that people only play God of War because you can make love to naked ladies.

I'm not a resident evil fan but I really like R5, I think that's controversial right?
Saying bad things about good games is against my beliefs.
Maybe not considered the best games of all time but these are the ones I think are super overrated:
Burnout Paradise: How to ruin a good franchise by forcing an open world unto it. It took all the fun out of the Burnout franchise for me. Where is crash mode? Where is split screen multiplayer? What about some variety in the setting? Terrible, terrible game.
Grand Theft Auto IV: It's an overrated franchise I think, I'm not too much into the sandbox genre. I admit the GTA series does what it aims for really well, and I still enjoy most of the games quite a bit, they are just not 9/10-10/10 games for me.GTAIV though, that's just boring. Takes itself way too seriously and drains all the fun out of the franchise. San Andreas does everything GTAIV does, but way better, including the visuals. GTAIV is a 4/10 game for me.
Mario Kart Wii: A lot of Wii games come up when people are talking about terrible controls, some of which I think control really well (Skyward Sword). For some reason Mario Kart Wii never gets mentioned, but I tell you it controls like shit, horrible motion controls and even with classic controller it's terrible to control. Those drifting mechanics are the worst in the series. Add to that one of the worst art styles of any Nintendo game and a completely chaotic gameplay. It's like they balanced the weapons to 8 racers, but decided to have 12 racers instead.
Some of the wii games people call shovel ware are much more fun than this one.
