Forums - Politics - Day 1 after Trump wins: Racism comes back stronger...

Most of these are probably fake. Just like the girl who claimed to be attacked by someone wearing a Trump hat.

I'd wait until the official crime figures are released to say either way.

People said the same after Brexit and in the weeks that followed racially aggravated crime had risen by up to 60% YOY.

He needs to be held to account for inciting racial hatred and in some cases, lying to do so. In the UK we actually have a law that would make some of the stuff he's said in his campaign speeches illegal (not that we're particularly good at holding our politicians to account either).

I believe the phrase that best describes this particular scenario is "leading by example":

If you condone physical attacks on immigrants, peaceful protestors or minorities, then people are going to think it's OK to keep doing these things.

But people of color get a free pass to vandalize property, riot, and attack Trump supporters?

Does somebody has real evidence, like an actual video, because we know through wikileaks that fake activism has been planted in the media by Robert Creamer and Scott Foval and other criminals in the DNC.

Some evidence of racist violence in the US after Trump won:

They now have a strong voice in the President. More racists who previously were quiet will now lash out in public. Not that things like this didn't happen before.
I read a comment from someone who returned to LAX airport during election night.
This probably isn't related to Trump winning but it's still upsetting to read. Here's an excerpt:

"I landed around 4 PM at the airport, so the elections were still going on, and I already was nervous about the outcome. The officer, then opens my passport and says to me, " You are yellow, and Asian, how do you even have a US passport?" Mind you this person was a Russian born American with a thick accent. I felt insanely appalled at the racist and ignorant remark, especially from another AMERICAN. I then said, "I was born here in America!" He then laughs at my face and says, "Funny, and it says you were born in Oklahoma, how is that possible?" By this point I was sure his bigot and racist comments stemmed from poor education, of course ignorance and even hate towards Asian Americans. I then say, " As an American citizen, you are treating me less than an animal! You are a citizen as much as I am one, and I was born here, how dare you!"
He continues to laugh, then asks me why I was in Sweden. I tell him that I was a guest at a convention, and he then tells me, thats insane, I must be doing something illegal there, and goes through my passport."

Looks like she deleted her post since then so I can't quote the whole thing now.

Wow, she deleted her post. What a surprise. That can't possibly be a sign that the whole story was completely fabricated to push an ideological agenda.

Yeah, people said that after Brexit and it turned out to be false.

I doubt this is true. As I said - similar to the woman who said she was attacked by a Trump supporter.

This is real. My dogs started a riot this morning. They created a mess in my kitchen, ripped my bed sheet, and called me filthy human. They told me they dont wanna pellets for their dinner anymore and expect a fillet mignon served every night for each of them. Fml

Racism should not exist. Why can't they all get along in the US like they do in the UK and Europe? The UK and Europe are places where multiculturalism and diversity continue to thrive.
