People are really flipping out about 20 grams less Chocolate? Just think of those empty calories that won't go straight to your ass!

If they made people pay the new bar 15/17 the price of the old bar, people wouldn't complain so much, but nobody likes to be scammed, Toblerone always was more expensive than average chocolate, they have no excuse to raise their unit price further.

Toblerone isn't even that good when it comes to European milk chocolate I prefer Milka.

Guess I'm just used to that living in the US. Since I've been alive I've seen many products shrink while their price goes up. Especially at fast food restaurants, pretty much everything is smaller and more expensive than it used to be.

I remember when the standard size for a jar of pasta sauce used to be 32oz now its down to 24oz. Not everything got smaller though the years though the standard size for a bottle of soda used to be 6.5 oz that changed when Pepsi introduced the 12oz bottle in 1936.

You won't come out in the place or time where you want too. When will you learn?

It is not only the reduction in weight though it doesn't look like a traditional Toblerone bar anymore.

Not sure if you should speak for everyone. For example, I would much rather pay 1 pound in poundland for an item rather than 1.something.

You make it sound like I was aggressive in that statement. I mean, I did say "don't mind" . But that's beside the point. Poundland stuff has it's place, I too buy stuff from there but here is an example of what I mean and something you definitely can't get in poundland. I like, really like, Homepride Chilli but from a can not a jar. It used to be 500ml at £1.60, then recently-ish they changed the content to 400ml at £1.40. Cheaper but less content and less value for money. I'd prefer to pay £1.70 for the 500ml version.

Never said you were being aggressive. Don't know where you got that from. But I really hate it when people speak for everyone. You simply can't and shouldn't.

Yes they do. If the product isn't profitable enough, they need to do something about. Haven't seen their financial statements but neither have most people here. It's easy to see each company as the bad, greedy guy, but it's not that simple. A lot of companies are struggling and some of the go under. Even when they don't, they still need to fire people as they're not making enough to offer these jobs.

Except for computers, electronics and non-premium phones it kept on happening the same here too, I can't speak for sure for others, but I feel people get mad when prices rise (or sizes shrink) too much compared to common people average income increase, so when common people purchasing power decreases.
