No they want, DS brend will be dead next year, same like Wii brend. Switch can be connected to TV, there is no point releasing handheld that can be connected to TV if they have Switch.

It's basically a handheld you can plug into your TV.  like the vita. 

Its not just handheld that can plug on TV, like I wrote: you can use it like real home console, playing on full screen on TV, most likely at higher resolution than in portable mode, with separate controller, and local multiplayer. So basically you have all attributes of real home console.

So why it can be used like real home console basically without and difference, if it's "just mobile device that can be plugged into TV"!?

Buy your point I can easily say it's home console that can be taken with you and play on go also. Reality is that is hybrid of home console and handheld but you keep denying that, device that acts like real home console and like real handheld.

Can I play Vita games on TV on full screen!? Does Vita comes with separate controller that can be used for playing on TV!? Can I play local multiplayer games on Vita on TV!? Answer on all those questions is no, so yes Vita is just handheld, but Switch can do all those thing right out of box.

I really understand what are you trying to achieve here, using Switch at home is like using real home console (basically you have all features of home console), but you keep denying that.

Heck, even the PSP could be connected to your TV, and that came out in 2004.
