Buy your point I can easily say it's home console that can be taken with you and play on go also. Reality is that is hybrid of home console and handheld but you keep denying that, device that acts like real home console and like real handheld.

The vita can be used like a home console.  connected to a TV and played with controllers.  does that make the vita a home comsole?  absolutely not. 

Heck, even the PSP could be connected to your TV, and that came out in 2004.
