Out of control defecit spending started with Reagan increased military spending even though it was compeltely unecsessary since the Soviet Union was already collapsing by the late 70s.  Most Obabma debt is due to Bush Jrs. failed policies and him starting two unessecary wars. 

Yup. She didn't campaign, she cheated, she deserved this loss. Hopefully Bernie is up for it in 4 years or so. 

Also, to toss into this discusion, the "military industrial complex" is not the main drive of the government's massive spending.  I know this is unpopular, no one wants to hear it, and no President would ever say, but entitlements are the biggest driver, taking up well over half of our budget, around 60% if my math is right.  Military spending is around 1/7 of the total spending, and that's with us at war. 

I never got too into this election but would have voted hillary. Guess we better prepare for a trump victory now. Personally I don't think it will be as bad as people think. Especially with him all buddy buddy with the Russians.

But military spending is what could be cut the easiest the US spends more on the military then the next 10 countries combined.
