Zidane starts as an annoying ass (subjectively...) and Vivi is just too simple in the beginning. ATE's are awesome (though, you can miss some of those... of course). The battle system is... yeah. Serviceable, but not nearly as good as its PS1 brethren (or FF VI).

Zidane annoys the crap out of me x.x and I agree with the Vivi thing. But yeah, maybe I could give it a better chance

Sad to see FF7 at the top but I understand why it up there as for a lot of people it would of been their first game in the series and hold a lot of nostalgia.

Knock FF9 up a few places and FF7 down 5 and it would look a lot better of a list imo of course :)

FFX is linear, has annoying voice acting, and you can't pick your party.

Not going to argue the other two points, but...yes you can. The whole point of the combat system (well, one of them) is swapping your party on the go.

At least FFX didn't end up above FFVI. FFIX should be #3 and FFXII deserves #5 or higher in my opinion.

I'm upset by the lack of love for FFV and the undeserved praise for FFIX.

That said in not surprised. At least IX, XI, XII, XIII, and XIV stayed out of the top three.
