A couple of days ago, I logged in from my PC for the first time in ages. Still horrible. Couldn't even see what i was typing. I only use my phone and the adbock browser, these days.

If you check is there a little semi transparent X floating above the top right corner of that advert? Sometimes clicking on it will close the video box underneath it... other times this box seems to be in the background and trying to click the X will instead click on one of the hot topics if this is the same shit advert which pops under my homepage when viewing on my Phone.

Trying to figure out where this is coming from. I see some files have been updated on November 3rd but as of now everything seems good when it comes to supporters not getting ads. I'm gonna keep digging.

Found it! It was well hidden but I found where the new advert was added and it seems ioi didn't think about adding a condition for supporters when making the change.

It should be good now but since I wasn't able to get the popup ad myself, I can't test if it's really 100% gone. I'd like confirmation from the supporters who did see it.

Sorry for that unpleasantness but I don't notified when something changes in the code.

I just checked, still nothing, but this time I tried portrait mode, and there it is! I guess for some reason the x is cropped out in landscape. Closing it without clicking on the ad is still a substantial challenge. -_-

I was also about to complain! And I did get the bronze too! Wtf!

Have you seen the ad in the last 10 minutes?

ktay - I feel your frustration, its very understandable.

Definitely in future email a site admin though for a faster and more effective response please.
