We don't talk about that movie, the newer Fantastic 4, it never happened.

Now go about your business people.

Is that the one where twins from white parents are white and black?

The movie never happened, I don't know what you are talking about.

*plugs ears and starts yelling "na na na na na..."*

This hurts my fanboy ways. Twins? No, just brother and sister but ones that are important to the Marvel Universe, after all, the FF are Marvel's first family. So included in that was a family dynamic. They cast Michael B Jordan as Johnny Storm (mates with the director) and cast Kate Mara as Sue Storm. They were very different, Franklin Storm was cast as a black guy so Sue was the adopted (yet older) one. So to some it lost a part of the family dynamic that was part of Sue and Johnny's relationship. It felt like they were just like step-brother and sister, like they knew each other, had to tollerate each other but that was it. Now make them both black and there might have felt more family dynamic between them.

Of coruse Kate Mara's acting in the film was so bad...

... wait forgot. Er I mean...

What F4 film?

Sorry for the mistake... but sure, having both being afrodescendant would be a better choice than half and half.

That wouldn't even be Iron Man, since it'd be Iron Woman, unless she identified as a man.

Even though they done that

Wait, when did they do that?

Now you may call me a racist on this one. But if around 75% of all superheroes are American and around 75% of the Americans is white. Isn't it logical most American superheroes are white. Besides the fans aren't against diversity, but against deliberately changing existing characters and their backgrounds do have more diversity. I believe no one was against the inclusion of "coloured superheroes" but against changing existing superheroes. Besides I don't give a shit about the characters inside new fictional movies, but I don't like character changing for the sake of diversity. Nor do I think a movie is racist if it features only white people like the Lord of the rings. Or only Asians in any Japanese, Chinese or Korean movie.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Recent comics (Not sure if it's published yet): http://www.polygon.com/comics/2016/8/22/12583292/marvel-iron-man-ironheart-riri-williams

I originally thought it was Misty Knight (seriously, the design is the same), at least that would have made sense, you know, Tony getting injured or soemthing and asking a friend to fill in for a bit, like the 80s with Rhody when no one cared but then neither did Marvel and they didn't make a big deal of it. They do now for some reason.

They seem to have forgotten that comic readers don't care about the the Iron Man mantle, they care about Tony Stark. Back in ze day, when Steve Rogers gave up being Cap in the 70s and 80s (he did it several times), the book continued as Captain America and followed Steve Rogers. Not some other guy. When he gave up the mantle recently, they published a new book, called Captain America Sam Wilson as Cap in it.

Hmm, pie.

Besides people asking for lesbian Elza from Frozen and silly things like that for child movies.

Gay Wolverine? An alternate reality character from a poor storyline, alt realities don't count. Try referencing the 40 years of characterisation Bendis changed with an off handed remark instead of real character exploration and development. 2 lines in one book, 2 pages in another. Iceman is now gay and they can't change it back.

I didn't know about the other. I don't follow them in full detail. What I know is that all their diversity shoehorns have done is make the dedicated userbase angry without really selling more to new fans.

Dr Strange looks fantastic in the trailers.... makeing a good movie with good actors, so much more important.

Hell I never read the comic book series for Dr Strange, and had no idea who "the ancient one" was or what he/she looked like. Mainly just seen Dr Strange in animation.

I want to watch this movie because it looks amasing.
I can give 2 flying f***s if they replaced a tibetan monk, with a white woman.
If that actor does her role well, thats more important.
