Forums - Microsoft - Project Scorpio Will Support Xbox 360 Backwards Compatibility

Good news that Xbox 360 games will be supported.

If it didn't, MS would have goofed hard

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

That's good. But I mean, it's not at all surprising. It would have been really stupid if it didn't.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Good to have an official confirmation but like several already said, it would have been really dumb from Microsoft no to :)

I assumed it would, but I assumed the Xbox One would as well at launch. Which I thought was a blunder.

Still it's nice to have the conformation.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

Of course they do - from now on, if you buy games for Xbox, you will play these games on all Xboxes that are to come in the future. And even many 360 games, the library is growing at a steady rate and it's good that MS isn't charging any extra fee for that.

Now if only it supported hardware BC.

Is this referring to the limited backwards compatibility the Xbox One has ?
