More hardware  in people  hands  means more software  sales.

Yeah WW it really should about I wouldn't be surprised if that's retail only.  with digital at 20% that would put sales around 7.5m. less than a year after launch,  I can see it hitting 10m for sure.

4 of the top 5 are Playstation.  Sony really bringing in that dolla!

Now obviously ps4 sales are dropping in volume like xbox but it must have been so far clear at the top it can still hold onto that #1 spot for a while longer.

Perhaps this has been Sony's plan, MS have been doing extra special discounts leading up to the Pro release, as part of disruption. Which I thought was a very good idea, but now I've just had a brain wave.

Nov/Dec are the biggest months of the year, perhaps Sony were keeping their powder dry, they knew MS would gain on them in August/Sept/Oct as MS did massive savings, but knew a good Nov/Dec would gain them more in sales as its the biggest months.

Its amazing one month I am thinking - perhaps Sony have lost the plot, next minute I am thinking, ah actually they have got this one right. Stupid :D

Nintendo is usually very bad with shipping (underships alot) but pokemon is definitely not 1 of them. Especially with 10mil figure they did day 1 (well some of that is digital but still)

 

If it is sold out then that means the games are doing much much more than expected.
