For 3 years we could use Amazon to predict the outcome of the NPDs, but for the last 4 months something has changed. The PS4 will win based entirely on Pro preorders but, having seen the last 4 months, I'm not now going to assume Amazon has returned to normal. If it has then we'll see a huge win for the PS4 and if it hasn't we'll see a win for the PS4.

Amazon actually did predict Julys win. You could easily see how high xbox was when they started having those massive sales.
Amazon couldn't predict August because that was won on pre orders alone. So There is no way to blame Amazon there.
So really it is only two months, not four months. Two months with no halo bundle, and where gears couldn't break top 50. Two clear bugs that seem fixed now.

Was about to post this. In July, the XBO Division bundle was the top console for the month, at #9. The 500GB Bundle was 2nd, at #17. The first PS4 SKU was #22. In August, the top console was, once again, the XBO, at #23. The PS4 was 2nd, at #25, with the XBO Halo bundle rounding out the top 3 with the HC Bundle, at #42.
So, yea, Amazon did predict those months accurately. It's just the last two that there seemed to be a bug in the system, or Amazon wasn't getting stock of a certain bundle. Either way, with the XBO's performance this BF, I think it's been fixed. I believe its accuracy is still above 90%. Personally, I'm not going to start questioning it until its accuracy drops below 80%-85%.
