Damn, completely missed that thread. But fine results. Super Mario Bros. 3 is the best, the creativity in that game is amazing. Super Mario World is in second place as it should be, lovely game. Those are by far the two best games. The rest of the list I can't agree with. New Super Mario Bros. Wii is my pick for third place, you people should really try it again, it's incredible and challenging! The original Super Mario Bros. is decent, but hasn't really aged that well, I would put it near the buttom actually, still above Lost Levels of course.

Great list.

i didn't vote for SMW because I haven't played it enough (yes, shame on me). Anyway, although it may be objectively a better game, SMB3 was so revolutionary when it released that it deserves the 1st spot.
