A perfect enanched version would have:

60fps in 4 player mode
fixed rubber band AI in multiplayer
More options for items and customization
From 2 to 4 new cups + DLCs
A battle mode worth of its name

Besides the base game, it would add all DLC, two new Cups, two new characters, 6 new vehicles (two per type related to the new characters and tracks) and maybe a real Battle mode.

True. i guess it's more affordable to wait for Mario Kart 9 then.

Also I would love some settings. I think it would be really fun to "choose" the teams. Bad vs good, Mario and luigi vs other. etc.

More modes. The battle one is just bad.

The Wii version had that, split between green and red team I think.
