There is no way to make any kind of real estimate without pricing info. Right now, we're just guessing.
If you are being optimistic, you should be predicting 10 million in its first year. Very few consoles have done that. Predicting 14 million is just setting yourself up for disappointment.
Wii U after launch and 1st calendar yr hit 5.86 mil, 3DS launch to 12/31 hit 15 mil . A lot depends on price & sw available- but just basing off hype level and overall product desirability, I'd safely predict somewhere in between, at least 8-9 mil by 12-31.
