Exacltly see I think they will just want to replace it (it's pretty damaged) and I would assume they would charge me the full amount + there time and energy. And I'm wondering how much if it's 280 or up I would just assume buy a new one.

SEND IT TO NINTENDO!!! all the way.
If you want to buy a new one. U spend 250 bucks and 50 bucks to replace your data and waiting in line (possibly)
if you send it to nintendo it will be free b.c it is covered on your 1 yr. warranty (assuming u bought it less than 1 yr. ago)

@kenzomatic yes i had problems with my wii repair cost $90 its not so bad free shipping 1/2 week repair time..

You can redownload VC games. So don't worry. And for save files, SD card if you're nervous? I doubt anything will happen.
