Well, when Phill said their console (Scorpio) would be better prepared and would have less compromisse to deliver 4K that were no issue at all, because the power difference would grant that. But when they are lying about PS4Pro not having any native 4k them it's not the same (and now with 4k you will be able to play halo 4 times better than on X1, everybody will do HS =])

Well, if you consider both consoles not able to give you true 4K gaming ok them. I don't bother with 30fps/60fps but in this forum we certainly have a big number of guys that do.

I guess they mean true 8th gen games and not ps3 games like the last of us or games like driveclub for VR which looks like a ps3 game for being able to run at 60fps on the normal ps4 and won't run at native 4k on the pro because it isn't powerful enough.

Well, they certainly will have to put a lot of caveats on their claim so their bold claim isn't exactly true and is very unecessary. And considering Multiplats will be upscaled in several cases they can't out themselves of it.

Exactly what I said few pages ago. They THEMSELVES confirmed they won't demand native 4K from multiplatform games. I don't see demanding games of 2017 and 2018 running native 4K on Scorpio, unless they drop detail and remove crazy amount of foliage and effects. Just look how demanding Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer looks.

Yes I saw what you said. Maybe some of them get native 4k. But if checkerboard 4k on PS4 bridge much of the difference for the end user against native 4k on the same title on Scorpio them most won't care. Anyway, they are lying about Sony not having native 4k or about all their games being ture 4k.

That's a bit misleading, but it's still mostly true. Right now it looks like PS4 Pro won't be getting that many native 4k games, and a lot of them aren't really new top-tier games anyway. That said, it will still be getting 4k games, and even a weaker console could output at least some games in 4k. It's just a matter of sacrificing enough other things for 4k.
