Forums - Nintendo - Stop trying to predict Nintendo

No one gives a fuck about NES mini.

Nintendo was in last place at E3 for like the 6th time.

Mainstream media DOES care about Scorpio and PS4 Pro which is why it was trending on Twitter.

You say Switch will be successful are you willing to make a boob bet on that? If not stop making false accusations.

when on this thread I said that Switch is going to be successful? and talking about false accusations? sigh

boob bet? I'm willing to show you my whole pussy if you want.

A lot of Nintendo stuff can be predicted, there are several users in here who have had major success in doing just that. But I agree with the gist of the OP's message; it's a little too soon to be dooming the NS almost six months before release. Then again; I doomed the Wii U roughly six months before release...

Switch's reveal has been mixed.

Some people like it, some people don't, don't try and spin this like everyone is going crazy. Quite frankly Nintendo could show anything with 3 seconds of new Mario footage and some people would be over the moon no matter what.

Their stock price dropped almost 7% after the unveil, indicating their own shareholders were not impressed with it, probably because it is very similar to the Wii U.

Mixed?Far from it.Initial reactions(which it is what this trailer provides, initial) have been mostly positive, or at the very least optimistic. After one day of the reveal, i have been hunting reaction videos around youtube, and almost all of them were very positive.Gamexplain,Jim Sterling, IGN, other smaller channels.Even Kinda Funny Games, which are compromised mostly of hardcore Sony fans, said that they were optimistic about the system. And in all reveal videos of the Switch, either the one at nintendo channel or some other youtube channel, the like/dislike numbers are very positive, usually with likes being around 95% of the votes. Now, dont confuse optimism with lack of worry. We all are worried about battery life, final specs and third party. But what they shown so far shows promise.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Nintendo should just look to the future, & start to create that "3rd pillar". I think Ninty will be first out of the gate in terms of ditching the traditional tethered home console. They started with Wii U not necessarily dependent on the TV, I believe next will be a truly mobile/flexible solution.

Maybe call it the "N7", something like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3KCTOkHVhA

nobody thought about this 3 years ago, so you should feel good. they are not predictable, you're a good fortune teller. stop being humble.

The Wii U will sell 250 million units.

Mario Kart 8 will save the Wii U.

Nintendo will never release smartphone games.

The NX will use AMD tech.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

The Wii U had similar bursts of optimism after reveal too, lets remember that.

Obviously not everyone was impressed, your stock price doesn't go down by 7% after product unveil if shareholders are wowwed and there are some people who weren't happy with the unveil, so yes I would say that's a "mixed" response. Sure it's probably more on the positive side, but this is not like the Wii or N64 unveils either, lets be clear on that.

yeah the thing has like 30 million views if you mix all the videos and so far the likes and comments are mostly positive.
