the thing is already more powerful than the Xbox One S pretty solid performance imo

the reports are assuming that it plays games upscalled on 4K @higher resolution than 720p on the docking station, and its around Xbox One perforamance
I thought the idea of turning away from dual screens a good move, the console will not have to do double duty.

I don't think people were wanting AMD over Nvidia for a portable unit, but rather, an AMD home console that instead streams to a HH device ala a very advanced form of remote play, made possible by the SCDs.
For a device like this, then yeah, Nvidia was a better choice than AMD.

Its like the saddest day ever for me. I personally feel devastated. Decades of Nintendo console support is gone in favor of a 720p tablet that doesn't even render a native 720p. Gen 9 machine is weaker than gen 8 hardware. Base gen 8 hardware.

Let's just hope that we don't know everything yet and that the SCD's cloud abilities are as great as some have speculated. :)
