So far Rez Infinite is my absolute favorite, vr version is my first 10/10 game this gen. It works perfect in VR, as long as Move cooperates. For some reason the pointer started jumping all over the place after a few hours break with no option to recalibrate. Restart game after ambient light levels change...
Wayward sky is simply magical in VR, move works very well with this title although not perfect. Manipulating things with your hands and using the laser pointer work well enough never to become a problem.
Driveclub VR, lot of downgrades and the low res screen really stands out after playing it for so long. It also has a problem where the forward direction slightly drifts. You can reset the spot you sit in to perfectly match your couch, yet after an hour or so it had developed a 10 degree rotational drift so I had to sit slightly turned on my couch to face forward. Fail, no option to reset. It's still awesome to play, sitting inside the car feels just right.
These 3 have taken up most of my time since Thursday plus the demo disc. Battlezone looks fun and works well, bit expensive though. I've watched my son play Rigs, he likes it. Where they lie, very low res but has potential, Outlast 2 in VR would be awesome.
Anyway what is clear is that games have to build from the gound up with VR in mind. Rez is the exception, seems to have always been intended for VR, simply brilliant. DriveClub really shows all the problems in the conversion, 2D elements can't hide in VR plus so much detail cutting makes it an ugly game.
I had my 10 minute drink break, back to Wayward sky, then more Rez :)
