FF XV isn't a console  exclusive , TLG is a niche game that strung along people to buy a Ps3 last gen, like myself only to see it abandoned,  nothing more.  It is still a i'll believe it when i see it. At best, it will sell to the niche audience already with a PS4, it won't sell new consoles.

I won't even comment on the PS VR thing. Thing costs more than a console and is packed with shovelware.

It has become difficult to be excited about Playstation this time of year. They simply don't have the commitment they showed during the PS3 era and are riding on 3rd party games you can play elsewhere.

What do you mean? Microsoft already made it's comeback with huge sales increases and NPD wins across the board, and I dont doubt the winning of October due to Gears of War 4 and the momentum of Forza Horizon 3.

Obviously an essentially entirely new console from Playstation will be an Amazon #1 as will Project Scorpio. Microsoft obviously knows that, but with Black Friday coming up and Microsofts endless cash, I see a lot of good discounts and/or bundles coming.

Right? Like who cares that Xbox won? Be happy for Microsoft and move on. They deserve the wins. They released the superior slim console model at an attractive price point, and released 3 big exclusives in two months.

This so much. Sony use to make a lot of cool exclusive games but now they aren't making as much. They aren't taking any risks or building their catalog. Which isn't good in the long run. If Microsoft didn't screw up with the xbox one launch, they would easily dominate PS4 in North America. All Microsoft has to do is keep making big AAA titles.

That made you chuckle? The person has no recollection of the past 2 generations. Ps2 and Wii were "inferior" systems at lower price points. Platform warriors indeed.

To be fair...the PS4s is still superior to the XB1s....the XB1s just has a 4k player. I do agree though that MS earned these 3 winns they have. No denying that at all!

This is odd though Snoopy my friend Sony is not making as many yet they still have more exclusives than MS so why are you penalizing Sony yet letting MS slide? We can't not count games just because they don't appeal to us. I mean factually the PS4 has more exclusives and better rated exclusives than what MS has.

Now of course it all boils down to what you want to play. But they still have more than MS to be fair. And what's wrong with them having exclusives and riding big 3rd party games that are selling better on their system? And we can't say that MS would dominate Sony if they had not screwed up the XB1 launch. Heck that is like saying that if the PS3 luanch price was not so high and the XB360 didn't have a year head start then Sony would have dominated them last gen.

I am happy MS won these 3 NPDs it is good for us as consumers for the competition to be healthy! But your post while I see where you are coming from is factually incorrect.
