That seems really poor for MonHun stories, I know we dont really have much to compare it to but for a series that sells like 3-5m I was expecting more from this spinoff. Maybe it will have really strong legs in the end though.

They didnt need it, sales were fine in Japan. Why not wait for sales to start struggling more until dropping the budget model.

I don't know how to feel about the numbers for Monster Hunter Stories.
On one hand, 140,000 seems pretty decent. On the other, as colossal as the Monster Hunter franchise is in Japan, those numbers seem kind of weak, especially considering it has its own anime. They're also noticeable lower than other popular-in-Japan franchise spin-offs, like Pokémon Mystery Dungeon and Busters.

Thats annoying, much sharper decline than I expected, I also think people are expecting way too much from the Pro. Most of the effect will come from Final Fantasy XV not Pro.
Nice to see bump for Minecraft Vita. Vita has settled at 10k mark, I guess with some of the bigger releases Vita will do maybe 15k for a few weeks.
PS4 hardware seems to have stabilized and it probably won't go much lower this year.

Maybe the P5 bundle is sold-out already. I think the pace is still positive and sales will pile-up fast.
The Pro-effect won't be much after 2-3 weeks but software really is the main sales driver, the line-up is rock solid.

As I thought YSO was way too low for Monster Hunter Stories but that doesn't make it a good opening. Legs could still save it I guess.

Agree for both the west and japan/asia the lineup of upcoming games is bigger as i have ever seen on the 7th gen possible even ps2 era numbers.
