Another Uncharted by Naughty Dog after the upcoming standalone dlc is unlikely.

http://www.dualshockers.com/2017/03/07/another-uncharted-lost-legacy-unlikely-says-naughty-dog/

“I would say that Naughty Dog doing an Uncharted after this is unlikely. I would never say never, but we’ve got The Last of Us Part II on our plates and there’s so much other stuff that [we want to explore]. It’d be hard. If we magically had that two-team, three-team studio, sure – it’d be great to keep doing it. We really love the franchise, but the studio has limited resources and lots of other ideas. I’d say the likelihood is low.”

That sucks. I wanted to see a game with an older Cassie as the protagonist. Maybe Naughty Dog will pass on the IP to another Sony studio?

I'm guessing that's what is going to happen. SIE Bend did the Vita one, which I thought was fantastic(and better than Drake's Fortune), wouldn't be surprised if they give the IP to them. Of course, that will have to wait until after they're done with "Days Gone".

Also, seems like Senran Kagura has gotten big enough to warrant the team their own division.

http://www.siliconera.com/2017/03/07/senran-kagura-producer-opens-new-studio-honey-parade-games/

A few details from an interview with Takaki about his new studio:

  • Kenichiro Takaki launched his new studio, Honey ∞ Parade Games” and their first title is Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash.

  • This change comes after the Senran Kagura series’ scale has increased, they’ve made Takaki’s division into its own brand.

  • This studio won’t be exclusive to the Senran Kagura series and they’re looking to release all kinds of fun titles.

  • There are seven characters for its logo, and it has the meaning of “creating the seven titles.” For now he has a basic idea for the seven titles in mind, and they’re looking to solidify it as a team.

  • The reason they went with the PS4 for Peach Beach Splash is because Takaki realized the PS4 can present a “see-through” look from wet clothing. That’s the reason it’s only on PlayStation 4, as it can’t be represented the same way on PS Vita.

  • If given the opportunity, Takaki would like to take on other genres.

  • The story continues after Estival Versus. While some may think of it as just a spinoff, it actually has some important element that paves the path to a new story for the series.

  • There are only plans for a locker room feature for PSVR, but it’ll have to be through a post-release update.

  • You can change the locker room shower colors, but white and other colors will need to be purchased via DLC. Takaki wants this to be something that is bought only by gentlemen who understand.

  • There are plans to make more PS4 games for the series.

Bolded the ones that caught my attention, hope he and his team find success with their future games. Might be the last SK here, but I wouldnt mind something else entirely from him on it. Maybe even a sequel to Valkyrie Drive? (Please).  I'm glad the reason he skipped the Vita wasn't for something cheap like graphics or sales, but having see-through clothes, good man.

Chloe and Nadine's relationship will evolve throughout the story, which will be reflected in both the story and gameplay. Nadine, who will play a role similar to Sam in Uncharted 4, can help Chloe in combat, however she'll be more inclined to do so as she and Chloe learn to trust each other throughout the game.

Overall, The Lost Legacy will be more personal, "grounded story" according to Escayg, who spoke to Game Informer. Chloe is part Indian but has not been to the country in a while, so the game will reflect her personal past, particularly her relationship with her father, as well as her cultural heritage. As Escayg has previously stated, Hinduism will play a key role in the narrative, with Escayg explaining that Naughty Dog is "tying the culture and stories of the Hindu gods, even the story of the Hoysala Empire and the kings that ruled there," to Chloe's story.

"This is the single largest level we've ever done in Uncharted," designer James Cooper said to Game Informer of the Western Ghats, one of the two locations GI demoed, noting that it's larger than Uncharted 4's Madagascar level.

Chloe will record findings about the environments she and Nadine explore on her phone, as she was seen using in the game's reveal at PSX. The jeep Chloe drove in GI's demo also featured a winch, as did vehicles in Uncharted 4, and the development team is taking feedback from the last game, including more puzzles but less crates to help companion characters navigate the world.

The Lost Legacy will also introduce a lockpicking minigame, while Game Director Kurt Margenau told GI that The Lost Legacy has the most side content for players to discover, including more collectibles, battle encounters, and special dialogue scenarios.

The Lost Legacy, though it takes place about six months after Uncharted 4, will reflect on the franchise's past. Co-writer Josh Scherr teased that players might see whether Chloe and Nadine will bring up Drake in conversation, considering both have very different relationships with the treasure hunter.

Escayg also told GI that "there might be" cameos from familiar characters from the franchise's previous installments.
