Melee is by far the best edition in terms of movement, the physics, balance

but I can see why some might pick the Wii U edition in terms of vast variety of levels and characters to play as

Melee. I actually played today for the first time ever, and it was hard as hell. I'm good at Sm4sh, but that's easy. Melee has so much depth, I would like to learn it.



Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Played all of them, and Brawl's still my favourite. N64 and 3DS have wonky controls, Melee is too fast and loose for my liking, and while Wii U is really good, I like Brawl's slower pace more.

Tbh even on the technical side of things Smash 4 matches Melee the difference is that in the former it's applied differently, in Melee it's pretty much a must to use each trick in order to force an open to attack where as in S4 things are more situational so each bit of tech is not mandatory and you can get punished hard for just recklessly using techs.

Extremely fast? Why? Because the rostor is big, shouldn't it be the opposite?
