PSVR will seem like a hit in its first year, but when version 2 comes out in 3 years when the PS5 comes out, thats when VR will matter. By then all these VR tech systems will have a consumer based version for $199... Will people really need to buy a PS4 or PS5 for VR 3 years from now? NO... But, will they? Yes, the PS fanboys will. Mainstreamers will want a VR system that hooks up to a ipad or similar. 3 years from now maybe there will be a tablet powered version of VR and then VR will go crazy.

SO, will psvr last longer than Kinect? Yes, because there is too much money in it now. Lot's of HUGE money.

Same issue AR has, its not ment for gameing really.

VR on the otherhand is really well suited for it.

People calling this a fad are mistaken. Its a new way to experiance media, thats it.

Just like the radio once was, or the TV.
