I like 'em both. I'm a big fan of animation though so I really like anime but manga is cool too.

Anime. Specifically dubbed anime. I know I'm a horrible person for preferring dub to sub. But I can't fucking stand the over the top Japanese VA. Maybe to some people it's fine but to me it's like stabbing a knife into an eardrum. Also all Japanese VA for girls sound the fucking same, barely above sounding like a chipmunk.

One other thing. People often say sub is more faithful to the original... that's not always the case. As someone who knows about as much Japanese as a Japanese 2 year old (took it for a year and a half and study it on my free time when I'm not doing French) I can tell you right now a lot of that sub shit doesn't match what the Japanese VA is actually saying. I don't have specific examples but if you wanna watch anime "pure", just learn the language

You'd be surprised by the amount of people who have wanted to crucify me for preferring dub. Hell, I was banned from the anime club in high school for that

The last 12-13 years manga only and before that I watched anime only. I don't really know why the change happened but I just cannot stand anime at all.



I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

I won't hate you for disliking anime. I only started reliking it again during ~2014. before then, I only liked anime up until I was around 7 and forgot about it until 2014.

I dislike the "Alvin & the Chimpmunks" voices as well, but 90% of the male voices usually ends up sounding cheesy.

Example:

"Dattebayo" in a normal, teenage-like voice VS "BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" in a voice that sounds like someone who'd stalk you for your entire life

But yeah, I hate when female girls always sound like they're about to orgasm.

Usually anime, but I'm sick of those 1 season animes, where they didn't even wait til the manga is over and just invent stuff that doesn't follow the manga at all and thus make it impossible to launch a 2nd season.

I'm also waiting for dubs. Watched some Naruto and DragonBall GT stuff subbed back in the days and decided that it's better to just wait for dubs. (Absolutely hate Goku's Japanese voice).
