If he does that would be a Roman Reigns level push. The crowd would turn pretty fast but at least Baron has shown that he is doing this on his own and didn't need to rely on a supergroup like the Shield.
Also were supposed to boo Corbin. At least they know he's a heel
True and everyone knew that Vince was grooming Reigns to be the one. I could see a Baron push happening. But I think that from the rumble on it will be Undertaker main eventing.
You don't count Dolph Ziggler? He is pretty solid and he has been a title holder.
Not where he's at right now. You don't go from losing multiple IC Title Matches to WWE Title match overnight
A Undertaker or Cena comeback would pretty much solve the thing. Either that or a transplant from NXT would do wonders. I'd like to see Joe against the SD roster.
Good PPV! There was no disappointing match, every match was good imo especially the Ambrose vs Styles match! SmackDown is going to be very interesting this week with Ambrose's reaction. After all he did to Ellsworth he got betrayed by him. lol Only thing I didn't like about this PPV is that I think that it was too early to take the belt from Lynch. Bliss as a champ is a good thing but it is too early if you ask me.
Nakamura v. Zayn is probably my MOTY at this point but DIY v. The Revival is right up there.
The others that come to mind are:
Omega v. Naito (G1)
Styles v. Nakamura
Kushia v. O'Reilly
Okada v. Tanahashi (Wrestlekingdom)
Also, I never thought I'd say this, but Roman Reigns is on my short-list (v. AJ Styles). They had an awesome match at ... Extreme Rules maybe?
I'm betting Okada v. Tanahashi wins the most MOTY awards around the web, partially because of the great storytelling. The loser being so crushed that they break down and cry afterwards is how you show how much your World Title means.
Moment of the year goes to Taichi's valet for losing her top in the ring and not being able to get it back on (kind of SFW because you can't see anything at all).
