Man, I am excited about the Royal Rumble this weekend.

*ignores the Vince stuff*

I wonder if the rumors about Gunther winning the match will be real.

My wishlist for turn of events would be....

CM Punk winning the rumble to cash in for a match against Rollins at WM

Rock interfering and costing Reigns the title which he then drops to Randy Orton to go on to WM to defend against Cody Rhodes.

So..

Seth Rollins* vs CM Punk

Randy Orton* vs Cody Rhodes

The Rock vs Roman Reigns

(None of these will happen but hey one can wish lol)

I don't see how you can have Reigns drop the title anywhere but Mania. Besides, it has to be a clean win.

I wanna see Okada

Aaaaaaaaand Vince is gone again. Supposedly Slim Jim was pulling their sponsorship, which probably sealed the deal. I'm sure Netflix also wasn't best pleased.

Damn, Vince is gone (again lol).

$$$$ means a lot so no surprise they threw him out when a major sponsor backed out.

Slim Jim probably not gonna be the only sponsor that pulls out.
A couple more are gonna bail just to wash their hands completely of WWE.
At least until it's truly for real that Vince is gone for good.

Vince McMahon has resigned as Chairman of TKO.

Nick Khan: "I wanted to inform you that Vince McMahon tendered his resignation from his positions as TKO Executive Chairman and on the TKO Board of Directors. He will no longer have a role with TKO Group Holdings or WWE."

Because of the freshness of the buyout, I’m assuming a new Chair from the WWE side of the merger will be chosen.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Hulk Hogan
Shawn Michaels
Stone Cold Steve Austin
Cody Rhodes

Then only men in WWE history to win back-to-back Royal Rumbles.
Cody will have another chance to finish the story at WrestleMania!

Thought the women's rumble was really good. A few nice surprises, and a lot of really good moments. Great way to debut Jade Cargill. Some spots didn't quite work the way they should.

The men's rumble... kind of meh. It got good at the final four. But I honestly can barely remember any of it before then. Not really any surprises, returns, legends... etc. Smart to have the end with the four people who actually had a chance. It was a good choice to have Punk and Cody have a lengthy back and forth at the end, although Punk was looking pretty gassed. It was a long match and he hasn't wrestled much recently.

Cody winning should means he faces Roman at Mania. There's no logical way to have him choose anyone else. Maybe they jam the rock in for a three way, but I'm thinking more likely not.
