I used to watch Ring of Honor like it was life when it was on Destination America.

New Japan, in my opinion, has the best wrestling in the world.  They lost AJ but they replaced him with Omega, who has been killing it.  Naito's heel character is all kinds of awesome and obviously Tanahashi is still one of the best in the world.  Okada, Goto, Ishii, and Shibata are all top level performers.

Kenny Omega vs. Tetsuya Naito (NJPW G1 2016 Day 18)  -  Gif is from that match.  It wasn't even the finals of the tournament.  MOTY contender.

Okada vs. Omega at Wrestle Kingdom is pretty much set which is going to be awesome.

The reason why Naito is so hot right now is because of his "I don't give a rat's ass" character.  He is so disrespectful and smarmy.

The funny thing is, he was exactly where a certainly someone in the WWE is now.  Naito came in as a "genius" and was pushed to the top as a white-bread babyface.  He was excellent in the ring but his character had no depth.  He was just another nice-guy babyface that management obviously had big plans for.  So, people started to boo him.  Over time, he was getting more boos than cheers.  What did New Japan do about it?  Did they keep ramming him down people's throats?  Nope.  He went to Mexco for awhile, turned heel, and came back as a guy who had lost his faith in the fans and now mocked them and the senior wrestlers.  He became a pure asshole and now he is far more over than he ever was before and probably sells FAR more merchandise with his Los Ingobernables de Japon stable.

Paige's Parents Respond To Paige's WWE Suspension

Her father's responds sounds like baloney.  The WWE pays for some of the best medical treatment in the world and there is no way they're going to suspend someone for properly cataloged painkillers.

No option for the 2nd highest subscribed Wrestling Promotion on YouTube? What Culture Pro Wrestling (WCPW) bit strange considering the brand has featured Kurt Angle, Cody Rhodes , Aaron Stevens (Damian Sandow), Jay Lethal and a ton of other great talent (Local Hero Joe Hendry easily one of the best actors they have in the promotion on the mic)

But yeah if not WCPW then it would have to be WWE since they are the monopoly really on Western professional Wrestling for the majority of people.

Wat - WCPW is an actual wrestling promotion o.O?

Here is Alberto El Patrons first match after leaving the WWE

Also they bagged Aaron Stevens for his first appearance before heading towards TNA.

As well as having their own fantastic signed talent, but also they've had other Ex WWE stars like I said, Cody Rhodes, Good Old Jim Ross, Kurt Angle and others.

What the what - how come I didnt know about this! Thanks for the info :O

You're welcome, they've already had 11 weekly episodes of their show which is streamed live called WCPW:Loaded and it also is uploaded in each fight segment the following day, some of their stuff is very amateur but at the same time some of it is damn good Wrestling with some crazy characters and some great cameos from other brands, like I said the Ring of Honor champ/owner Jay Lethal was there for their initial starting episodes and had a good few championship matches before WCPW unveiled their own brand belt and their Womens championship belt.

Their event which featured Kurt Angle and Cody Rhodes was an ippv some form of payment is required to watch it I believe so I haven't seen what the wrestling machine Angle is like in their ring, but most of their stuff is really good (if you know WC Wrestling you will know King Ross and Simon Miller those are the commentators in the first few eps of WCPW Loaded and aren't great at commentating but they're replaced after about 5 eps)

Wow, those guys do not respect their own bodies, some of those spots were amazing though, that reversal of the powerbomb into a huge ddt took some impressive strenght to power into. Great match indeed.

Kenny Omega is going to get a good amount of WOTY votes.  They gave him a chance with leading the Bullet Club when AJ and Anderson left and he's taking advantage of it with spots like that.  No one can accuse him of slacking off now that he has a top spot in one of the bigger promotions.

I've been meaning to check out What Culture's promotion.  I know they've put a lot of money into it and they've gotten some mixed reactions but it's clear that they're passionate about growing.

I know it's a different kind of promotion, since they don't do a week to week kind of thing, but I love PWG.  They always have some of the best events of the year.  It's just a really entertaining vibe.

The one bad thing about WCPW is that since doing it more and more of their people have found themselves being blocked on things like twitter by the WWE talent and knowing Vince and the higher ups at WWE I could see it being the end of things like Whatculture being allowed to do interviews with the WWE talent which would mean the end of things like the recent new day interview which I thought was fantastic stuff... as much as I enjoy the odd bit of WCPW wrestling I much rather the channel that is What Culture Wrestling and would hate to see that suffer if WWE feel it's a threat to them in anyway which would stop them being able to use some of the WWE images which appear in some of their videos.

I don't want to lose stuff like this... ever.

Wow... Paul Heyman issuing the challenge to Goldberg. I like the match. I also liked Paul doing the mic flip at the end of his promo. I always liked Heyman swagger.
