You lift up the little door on the front.

You lift up the little door on the front.
Lol, you open it up where it says "Nintendo..." and then you place the cartridge (sp¿?) inside.
You guys are missing the question: I'l not asking "IS IT POSSIBLE TO MAKE..." I'm asking "what if this was the next gen of gaming" as in, right after the PS3, Wii and 360.

They could do it now/in 5 years time at much lower cost. It depends on how much they want it to cost!
OLED technology should be mature enough then to do it.
Tease.

You think so? I think it was brilliantly made, especially with the music
OT: Would be extremely great of course, but we'll probably all be old before that hits the market...
I drink your milkshake.
I don't think its the next generation or the generation after. I personally would stop playing videogames if thats what a generation ends up as. I need a wiimote.

I agree, it would need more of a controlled environment.
Imo, TERRIBLE idea for home gaming. Look, Virtual Boy was a total failure, besides, if there will be a console that will require movement from the player side (for example running arround your room), then it will be even bigger failure. Not everyone lives in several thousand feet big mansion. Myself, I live in a small room, I could not play on such console, because there's not much room to move. I would have to go outside to play but I am living in the middle of the city, playing with this thing outside it's like asking "Hey Nigga! Steal my NintendON!!".....also, you would look like an idiot wih all this stuff.
However, Virtual Reality could be adapted to arcade gaming. Anyone ever played Digimon World 3? There was a game called..uhh..Digimon Online if I remember correctly. That game was in Cyber World, you had to register at lobby, then you had to go into Matrix chamber. Then, you were transferred into the game's lobby, you got your digimons and...there ya go.
So, to summarize:
Virtual Reality gaming:
At home- BIG NO!
Arcade- of course.
You: I'd like to buy the new Nintendo console
Cashier: okay sir, your total comes to $17,000
You: SAY WHAT!!!
Cashier: $17,000 please.
You: *Faints*
