Imo, TERRIBLE idea for home gaming. Look, Virtual Boy was a total failure, besides, if there will be a console that will require movement from the player side (for example running arround your room), then it will be even bigger failure. Not everyone lives in several thousand feet big mansion. Myself, I live in a small room, I could not play on such console, because there's not much room to move. I would have to go outside to play but I am living in the middle of the city, playing with this thing outside it's like asking "Hey Nigga! Steal my NintendON!!".....also, you would look like an idiot wih all this stuff.

However, Virtual Reality could be adapted to arcade gaming. Anyone ever played Digimon World 3? There was a game called..uhh..Digimon Online if I remember correctly. That game was in Cyber World, you had to register at lobby, then you had to go into Matrix chamber. Then, you were transferred into the game's lobby, you got your digimons and...there ya go.

So, to summarize:
Virtual Reality gaming:
At home- BIG NO!
Arcade- of course.
