That seems way to high for what power the system is rumored to have.

If this launches at 399$ in the US..... I dont even know what to say.

It will end up being compaired to the PS4 Pro that is like 10 times stronger (going by rumors).

And get bad word of mouth because of it.

It really depends on how awesome it is. It's it's powerful and cool, I don't mind paying for it.

Maybe that's the complete package and you can buy the handheld separately for $200 or $250.

If it actually launches at that price I expect Nintendo are just trying to maximise revenue from their hardcore fans who will buy it anyway and then they'll drop the price within 12 months to try get continued sales from the masses. If it launches at that high a price my advice would be to wait for a price cut.

Well if that's the price then I'm out. Not paying that much when I could get a much more powerful PS4 Pro for $50 more.

Wow. I know that usually those prices are not final, but...

People who wanted a powerful console might be happy, but it's going to scare a lot of consumers if the end price is something close to that.

Eh, it's a bit pricey, but at the same time I'm looking at those dumping down wads on paying to play online, 4k tv's and mid cycle refresh systems (as well as peripheral VR), £350 seems like small change when I look at the rest being paired together, especially since it's a hybrid, while the others simply aren't.

Nintendo should probably price it at around £300 though, then start pricing it a bit lower throughout the year and go lower during Dec.

So you're saying that this is the same price as a 4.2 TF VR capable console? An with rumored less than Xbox One power?
