Forums - Microsoft - So, I ordered an Xbox One S.

Get Forza Horizon 2. I have Forza Horizon 3. It's fantastic and all, but I like the setting of FH2 better. Roads seem smaller in FH3 for some reason also. Maybe cuz there's just too many damn cars on the road now. FH2 Fast & Furious is also a nice twist with NOS.

Get EA Access, $25 a year and you have a whole library of games. Titanfall is still my fave shooter this gen.

Add me on XBL and PSN: pbroy

Get an external Harddrive. 500GB will fill up fast with just Halo alone.

Yeah, I'm expecting that. Portable Hard drives work correct?

Halo 5 and MCC takes up like 160Gbs.

Jesus Christ. External hard drive it is.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Couldn't get into sunset overdrive even when free. I might have to give it another go.

Titanfall was amazing and I'm sure there are still a good amount of ppl playing it. Good warmup for Titanfall 2 as well.

Rare replay, Gears 1 and 4 (this one is not out yet), and use backward compatibility for Red Dead Redemption.

Congrats on picking up one fine sexy @$$ console! ;P

Yep. I would say anything over 3TB is good. I have a 5TB Seagate, which will likely get me through this gen without worries.

I think you'd be better off to get a 1TB hybrid drive.  The Xbone has some serious load times with some games.  A hybrid drive will help a lot with that, without the high cost of SSD.  I say 1TB because that, in additional to the 500GB internal, is more than enough to hold the games you're playing, plus a handful that you just want to have at the ready.  Any other can be re-loaded later, if necessary.  Then, take the $150 you save over the 5TB drive mentioned here, and buy some games with it.

Sunset Overdrive, Quantum Break, Gears of War 4 and backwards compatible Alan Wake.
