When he goes invisible, use your IR googles.

If you wanna be cheeky, chuck a chaff grenade - it'll make him spazz out for a short while.

When he goes insane at the end of the fight, pull out your gun and shoot him.

If you ever need a tip during a boss fight, use your CODEC - your team will give you advice.

Although, I suspect you've already beaten him by now.

I actually liked the 2nd better than the 1st. I played the 2nd before MGS though so that mightve threw it off. I loved all the minigames and what nots in MGS 2 Substinence or whatever for Xbox. Stealth naked mode ftw.

MGS WAS remade in 2004. Brilliant graphics, better gameplay, better AI and amazing cut scenes. Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes.

I've yet to play a MGS game. maybe this collection is what i should get, or borrow them from a friend.

 You just explained why I like the Splinter Cell series so much better than MGS.

Great game. Not better than Mario. LOL. IMHO. If you like Metal Gear Solid you should also try that new game called Splinter Cell. It's pretty good.

I remember back when MGS1 came out, i could never get into it. I found the controls to be very awkward and never allowed me to get my character to move as i wanted him to. I'm pretty sure i had problems with the gameplay itself and the camera, it was just to long ago i can't remember all the details.

I found the controls and camera of Syphon Filter to fit my skills more. I also found MGS3 to be pretty much the same system that was used in #1. But i hear MGS4 has changed the camera the controls and the gameplay, i just hope i like this one.

I have MGS 3 and I'll prolly end up getting this .....

I'm talking about the very first Metal Gear for the NES... here is a pic. It's a 20 yr old game :P

*edit* Opps yeah they did remake MGS... but that was for other consoles not the ps.  I'd like to see a complete overhaul for the ps3 :P

1 & 3 are the greatest.
