Mattrick's predecessor. He's the reason Tales of Vesperia was an Xbox 360 exclusive and sold more than two hundred units (and probably two hundred consoles) in Japan.
He's also the reason Lost Odyssey was a thing, FF went multi and we had BB without Akshit...

Sounds like he did a lot of good for Xbox. Do you think he left because he knew they were going to stop investing in Japan?

No, you have it backwards. They stopped investing in Japan because he left.

FF Multiplataform is a thing, now the series is multiplataform. Sad move for Microsoft, they chose an ex-EA's Ceo(Mattrick) to run the Xbox's division.

Apparently they didn't get the memo that at the time everyone was hating on EA for a series of stupid moves that ruined most games (there's a reason went to shit during the mid 2000's).
Apparently, hiring Sakaguchi and Mistwalker to lead the division, especially since Sakaguchi was and currently remains resentful of Sony, didn't pass through their heads, not to mention Balmer was still in charge...

What the... XBone japan total is 68k? i only know its selling poor in japan but 68k total in 3 years is really much worst than i thought...

yes, its really interesting. ONE WEEK(PS4) versus 3 years(Xbox) and the one week wins.

Don't act like this is good news. A winner has power someone must keep under constant surveillance. Hopefully at least in Japan Nintendo can remind Sony they don't have a monopoly.
