These threads are fun. Shows different/out of touch forum goers are with most actual gamers. Sports game are bigger players in the industry than everything else outside of FPS?

For me, I would be fine if they stopped making 2D platformers. I typically just don't enjoy them, but they're so easy to do, so I expect to see a few hundred more each year.

Anime rehash, grindy and more of the same. Sounds like them all.

I wouldn't get rid of any genre.  What would be the point of that?  

If I don't like a certain type of game, I don't play it.  But, I have nothing to gain by making those games go away.  

MOBAs. But I guess it's mostly only relevant in Asia.

Freemium iOS/Android games.

MMO/MOBA games. I will never get into those. I rather quit gaming.

Yeah, definitely.  If I had that power, I certainly wouldn't use it.  Why would I do something so completely self-centered?  I'm not a child, I can accept that other people like other things.

I'm not really sure why people want to shrink the industry, either.
