Will be a shame for many

Around the Network

This doesn't mean they won't stop doing singleplayer (or at least that's the impression I get from their message, they just want to elevate their storytelling adding the cooperative component), so what's the shame? They certainly deserve to try a new approach if they feel like re-defining themselves.

What a shame.Such a talented developer doing this.I mean, multiplayer games can be fun(even though Im not a fan of them), but the best games usually comes from single player games, or at the very least from games that have single player as their focus.Oh well, hope that they dont go full multiplayer

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Really glad these guys didn't touch Max Payne 3. Never really was a big fan a Remedy. They're story telling in MP 1 and MP2 was great though. The gameplay not so much.

I'm sure they won't stop making single player games. Thomas Puha said in an interview that they want to release more games instead of developing one game for many years. If I remember correctly, they have four games planned but not Alan Wake 2 since they couldn't get a publishing contract they wanted.
