1080p tv users, you might not want to buy Ps4 Pro unless you care alot about AA and nothing else wich, let´s say is the least of our problems, so i was watching a video and seems like the only thing Ps4 Pro 1080p tv user will benefit is from better IQ and nothing more, the game will just super sample the 4K image to your 1080p tv and nothing more, same shadows as on Ps4, same everything, only better IQ, is that worth 400$$? Hell no.

Now what you want is better FPS, better shadows, better lighting, better textures, better this better that, you will not get any of that!

This is a terrible decision by game studios and guys believe me this will be the norm because i watch some first party Sony devs saying this, you can check for yourself in the following links:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJWD6RpAt6E

Edit: i´m missing one link.

You could have linked to a source more specifically. That's 17 minutes of babbling which I already saw right after the Sony event, but I forgot if/where they talked about supersampling when the PS4 Pro runs games in 1080p.

But I am afraid it will be like you say, they will only use the uspersamling that makes the 1080p image on a PS4 Pro a little bit sharper. That's it. They won't bother adding any advanced graphical effects.

So let's buy ourselves these glorious LG OLED B6 4K HDR screens then!!   I want one so bad. With these little guys we can enjoy the PS4 Pro to it's full potential:

I wouldn't recommend an OLED unless you just hate that pesky grayscale. The blacks dip into perfect black waaaaaay too fast, and you end up losing a lot of detail in those blacks. Not to mention the fact that LG doesn't use a noise algorithm, meaning much of your screen will be artifacts.

Source?

“Sony officially unveiled their new gaming console today – the PlayStation 4 Pro – available November 10, 2016. Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration was featured at their New York event, showcased as one of the first 4K games on console. Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration launches on October 11, 2016, and will be compatible with the PlayStation 4 Pro.

With the PlayStation 4 Pro’s additional horsepower, we’ve been able to add graphical enhancements such as improved reflections, more dynamic foliage, and detailed tessellation. These features heighten the experience and further immerse players in Lara’s first Tomb Raiding expedition.

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration on the PlayStation 4 Pro will include three modes: 4K Resolution, High Framerate, and Enriched Visuals, allowing you to customize your experience. 4K Resolution displays the game in 4K Resolution, on supported 4K TVs, in 30 fps. High Framerate pushes the framerate above 30 fps at 1080p with a target of 60 fps for an even smoother gameplay experience. Enriched Visuals enhances graphical features of the game for a lusher and more realistic experience, in 1080p at 30 fps.”

That's actually pretty cool if they give us 3 modes. Still I'm not really confident in the performance if they can't even claim stable 60 fps in frame rate mode.

Actually this information makes OP a fucking liar.

Some tittles will support 1080p with enhanced modes but the rule will be SS, why calling me a liar, did you watch the video?

It's what gets you accused of using bullshots. lol

Someone remembers!

What are you guys talking about?  No one has EVER accused CGI of using bullshots!

Missing is the fact that all the games will be capable of 60fps in 1080p. Posters need to get informed more... seriously.

Spending $300 for a regular ps4 or add $100 more to get a better experience in either fps, resolution or graphics? No brainer to me. Why's the internet trying to put down PS4Pro so much. Instead of making their own decisions, it almost seems like people are trying to convince other people not to buy it. There must be an agenda somewhere, lol.

I think FF15 Pro edition is going to blow people out of the water. It is the reason why they delayed the game to add more to it and also the reason why they didn't show any footage. Square wants to wow people on release and get the word of mouth.

Time Raider and Paragon feature better textures, density and detail at 1080p, it's still early days so I'm sure a fair portion if games will do sane (hoping FFXV) but I dobt have a PS4 yet so pro is the obvious option for me. I

i'm getting it mainly because of better PSVR games performace, i believe it will have much greater improvement over OG PS4

If you don't want to be called a liar, don't throw around absolutes. Apparently TR even gives you all 3 kinds of better. It's also never a good idea to pretend that "worth" is objective.

Do I think it's worth getting a PS4 pro to play FFXV at 1080p and get 3 fps more on average? Hell yeah I think.

All the game developers in that video you linked say its a very noticeable differnce in image quality, even with just 1080p.

That goes against what your saying OP.

It has 3 times the power of a Xbone and 29% less GPU power than what's claimed for the Scorpio, take a rest. At 1080p the games are going to be more spectacular that what they already are now.
