Forbes report: Nintendo NX DELAY!

Just kill me already Nintendo. 41 27.52%

Oh! The pain! The pain!!! 20 13.42%

Don“t care. 62 41.61%

I love waiting. 26 17.45%

Total:149

This whole article is pure speculation and nothing more, completely ignoring things like Nintendo just last month again confirmed March like release date (why they would constantly conforming March like release date if they are going to delayed it) and fact that Nintendo several times said they dont want to unveil NX too soon because they think competition could stole their idea.
There is no reason to doubt about March like release date for NX, unveil will be most likely be end of September or early October.

Just gonna have to wait and see and keep an open mind on how this console might work.

Honestly, I don't even care any more.

Nintendo have lost me. I was a fan for over 20 years, but modern Nintendo simply no longer meets my needs as a gamer. For years I defended them and made excuses for them, hoping things would get better, but I'm tired; tired of delays, tired of droughts, tired of being disappointed.

It's time we went our separate ways.

You want the heat of the herd in other words.

The quoted part isnt even true. The Original NES wasnt released outside the fall holiday window. The N64 didnt release during the fall window. The Gamecube didnt even release during the fall window (only in the US).  So his biggest argument was flat out wrong, I mean it could turn out to be true. But his arguments doesnt really support his case at all.

The article says "SINCE the PS2 in Japan", which is true for all home consoles (handhelds on the other hand have been released in Q1 however like the 3DS).

Guess I will blame the early hours here lol =) Gamecube still doesnt fit that bill though, released late summer.

Just wait for early october & then we shall talk...

I don't think there will be a delay, simply because Nintendo has barely anything to show anymore. Sure, the 3DS is getting some games, but the WiiU is barren at this point, and Zelda U can't do miracles alone.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Nothing to see here.

Regarding Nintendo's silence, they announced the March release date the same time they announced it won't be at E3. A pre September reveal was never really on cards otherwise they would have just gone to E3. The system is missing the holidays so they could announce it December and it wouldn't make a difference.

Of course. Its either delayed or they plan to market it full force from announcement to the march date. Like reveal it four months before then market market and more market. Make it known to any and everyone. Keep the momentum high and the gear to sixth from reveal to releasrle. Of course most people would assume delay cause its a much Kore plausible argument No one needs an article to come to the conculsion

Just a guy who doesn't want to be bored. Also

Why are people acting like a March release is unrealistic? Didn't the 3DS launch in March?

This is the direction the whole tech industry is moving in.
