Forums - Sony - Ps4 trade in value?

Well, Gamestop was giving 200 for the original PS4 but it tanked to 125.

I guess those people who said to sell before the announcement were right. It was only logical. I applaud those who use their brains.

But for the value, it's now to late for a big store trade-in. Maybe you can sell it on Ebay quickly to some guy who missed the news. You may have a day or so for that action.

Exactly . I sold my PS4 + 5 games €300 5 days ago on ebay.

I think with the Slim still at overpriced €300 the OG PS4 won't lose too much of its value, at least on ebay.

To eBay charge me to put something on there or do they only charge once I sell the product?

Only if you sell the product. Just be sure not to select those useless paid options when you write your offer.

What do you mean by useless paid options.  I've never used eBay.

Options like adding more photos, create a subtitle, add visibility to your page, etc. Those you have to pay even if you don't sell.

But those options are basically useless IMO, notably for a console. Also you can add more photos inside your description freely using inline html.

But if you never used ebay and want to sell something quite expensive like a console it could be good to first raise you trust levels by buying a few nonexpensive stuff (stuff you would have bought it elsewhere) to others ebayers. They would give you positive rating which will up your feedback score.

Can confirm. I wouldn't buy almost anything from a seller without feedback, and certainly not anything expensive. The only case where I would do that is if I could pick up the product and pay in cash, which is obviously usually not feasible due to distances.

This is why I sold mine when I did. I got pretty much full price for it, if I had waited I would've gotten $125 from Gamestop or had to put up with the hassle of EBay. Screw that.

I did the same. Sold mine months ago and got almost full price for it.
